What this site is, what it is not, and what that means for you as a reader.

Editorial nature

Madeira Digital is an editorial site. Everything published here — articles, profiles, checklists, audits, sector guides — is the result of editorial research based on public sources (official portals, legal registries, public professional websites and profiles). It is not legal, fiscal, financial, or medical advice. It is not a funding application. It is not a commercial proposal.

Does not replace professional advice

For decisions with material impact, consult a qualified professional:

  • MADEIRA2030 and equivalent fund applications — certified funding-applications specialist or IAPMEI.
  • Legal structure, contracts, and intellectual property — lawyer registered with the Portuguese Bar Association.
  • Tax, accounting, and social security — certified accountant (TOC/Contabilista Certificado).
  • Provider selection and contracting — own due diligence with references, formal proposals, and contracts.

Source vetting

Everything describing public funding is cited with a link to the official portal (idr.madeira.gov.pt, MADEIRA2030, IAPMEI or equivalent). Where there is a discrepancy, the official portal prevails — verify before applying.

Provider profiles are built from publicly available information and the verification tier applied (T1 / T2 / T3). The scope of verification is described at /directorio/criterios-verificacao.

No commercial relationship with listed providers

A provider listing in the directory is editorial. We do not charge to list, we take no commission on contracted projects, we do not promote positions for payment, and we do not have an active commercial relationship with listed providers. Full editorial rules are at /editorial-policy.

Update dates

Information has a shelf life. Every critical page (notices, provider profiles, resources) should ideally show the last-verified date. If you find a page without that date or with apparently outdated information, write to us to flag it.

Decisions are yours

Use Madeira Digital as a structured starting point for your research, not as a destination. The final decision — applying to a notice, hiring a provider, investing in a particular technology solution — is yours and should be based on your own due diligence, validation with qualified professionals, and the specific circumstances of your company.
