1. Nature of the site

Madeira Digital is an independent editorial site organising public information about the digital ecosystem in the Madeira Autonomous Region: funding programs, verified providers, and SME resources. It does not sell services, does not intermediate transactions, and does not replace professional advice.

2. Information accuracy

We work to keep information factually correct and we cite official sources. Even so:

• MADEIRA2030 notices and other programs change (dates, amounts, eligibility). Where this site and the official portal disagree, the official portal prevails — verify before applying.
• Provider verification covers existence, activity, and responsiveness — it does not cover specific project outcomes, pricing fairness, commercial disputes, or current capacity.
• Editorial resources (checklists, audits, sector guides) are guidance; they do not replace reading the applicable notice or advice from a funding-applications specialist.

3. Permitted use

You may access, read, and cite content on this site for information, research, or decision-making purposes. We ask that you:

• Cite the specific page (URL) when reproducing excerpts, instead of copying content without attribution.
• Do not perform large-scale automated scraping or use the content to feed commercial products without prior contact.
• Do not republish provider profiles out of context (without the verification badge and last-verified date).
• Do not represent Madeira Digital as a government entity, funding applicant, or commercial agency.

4. Intellectual property

Original editorial content (text, structure, commentary, editorial decisions) belongs to the Madeira Digital team. Third-party logos, trademarks, and figurative marks (including those of listed providers) belong to their respective owners and are used only in descriptive context. If you are a trademark owner and consider the use incorrect, email us for prompt resolution.

5. External links

The site contains links to external sites (official portals, listed-provider websites, cited sources). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or availability. Including a link does not imply commercial endorsement.

6. Limitation of liability

Madeira Digital provides editorial information "as is", without express or implied warranties of completeness, fitness for a specific purpose, or absence of errors. It is not liable for decisions made based on the published information — including but not limited to rejected funding applications, provider selection, or other commercial decisions. Use the information as a starting point and always validate with official sources and qualified professionals.

7. Service changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue pages and features, with or without notice. Material changes will be documented at /editorial-policy and on the updates page.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For any dispute arising from use of the site, the parties elect the Funchal courts, expressly waiving any other, without prejudice to consumer rights established by applicable legislation.
